Hi everyone. Kelly Mahler, occupational therapist and, here in the United States, it’s the end of summer. We are gearing up for back-to-school, and we hear from so many different school-based professionals from many parts of the world saying that are using The Interoception Curriculum very successfully in their various school settings.
We thought it would be fun to interview a few of the school-based professionals that are using The Interoception Curriculum, and to get inspired by some of their stories and what they’re doing. We hear so many positive outcomes that the students are reporting, that staff are reporting, and we thought that maybe we could bring some of that to you.
Personally, I think the interviews are going really well! We’ve only done a few so far, and the theme that has emerged across all of the professionals that we have interviewed thus far is just how much fun they’re having with The Interoception Curriculum, how much fun the students are having, how much fun the staff are having.
From what we’re hearing, The Interoception Curriculum is helping everyone get even more curious. The students are getting more curious about their own bodies. The staff is getting more curious about their own bodies as well as the students’. We’re nurturing curiosity in really fun ways.
So, I hope you find some of these interviews inspiring no matter where you are on your interoception journey, no matter where you are in the implementation of The Interoception Curriculum. Maybe it’s completely new to you. Maybe you’ve been using it for years. I hope you find these interviews a bit inspiring.
